The Foundation raises funds to support numerous educational initiatives designed to provide youth with scholarships for higher education to empower them to successful careers, awards special grants to organizations that provide vital and exemplary human services, and publicly honors individuals whose humanitarian deeds substantially improve the quality of life of the citizens of the State of Maryland. The Fullwood Foundation charity projects include: The Annual "Student Essay Contest" and "Ambassador of the Year" Awards Dinner; The "First Time Experiences For Children" Project; and The Annual Choir Extravaganza. The Annual Fullwood Benefit and Recognition Breakfast raises thousands of dollars to support a variety of community-wide causes, and has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars and scholarships during its 21 years. With an annual attendance of more than 1800, The Fullwood Breakfast is acclaimed as the largest and most spectacular fund raising event of its kind in the State of Maryland.
